1. Overview
Sudoku - Classic Puzzle is a mobile puzzle game with saved progress, Daily and Weekly puzzles, Friend Challenges, statistics, achievements, optional reminders, optional advertising, and optional purchases.
The app does not require a PieterPan Digital account or public profile.
2. Local game information
The app stores gameplay and preference information on your device so features such as save and resume, settings, statistics, achievements, progression, and reminders can work correctly.
3. Friend Challenges
Friend Challenges use self-contained links or codes representing the original unsolved Sudoku puzzle, its difficulty, and an integrity checksum. Newly generated challenge links do not include the solved board.
Creating a Friend Challenge does not upload the puzzle to a PieterPan Digital account or public leaderboard. The fallback web page does not use analytics, tracking, browser storage, accounts, or a challenge-upload service.
4. Advertising and consent
Sudoku - Classic Puzzle uses Unity LevelPlay mediation and Unity Ads for advertising. The app may show banner ads and optional rewarded ads.
The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present and manage consent or privacy choices where required. UMP is used for consent management and is not used by Sudoku to serve Google ads.
Advertising providers may process technical information needed to deliver, measure, secure, and limit advertising in accordance with their own terms and applicable law.
5. Firebase services
The production app uses Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase App Check with Play Integrity.
These services support app analytics, crash diagnosis, remote configuration, protected online content, and app integrity. Cloud Firestore may support official online content such as Daily or Weekly puzzle data.
6. Google Play purchases
Optional purchases and subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. The app receives the status needed to provide and restore the purchased entitlement.
7. Notifications and permissions
The app uses internet and network-state permissions for online content, advertising, consent, Firebase services, purchases, and related network features.
On supported Android versions, notification permission may be requested after you choose to enable the Daily reminder. You can decline or later disable notifications in Android settings.
8. Service providers and retention
Information may be processed by service providers used by the app, including Unity advertising services, Google Firebase, Google Play, and consent-management services. Their processing and retention are governed by their own terms and applicable law.
Local gameplay information may remain on your device until you clear app data, remove the app, or reset relevant settings.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
